This project targets to provide Wheelchairs in Central Nepal to 10 destitute Children with Disability who wants to go to school on their own and who are being isolated from right to education because of their physical disability.
70% of Nepali Children with Disability (CWD)/Physically Disabled are isolated from their Right to Education. Even though Nepal has ratified UN CRPD, Nepal Government is not able to guarantee all rights of CWD. Due to poor financial status 50% CWD cannot access their rights of mobility and education on their own. This project upon providing wheelchair to 10 Nepali Disabled Students can make sure to go school to pursue education and live independently with pride and all rights on their own.
This project aims to provide wheelchairs to Nepali CWD for their mobility which enables them to go school and pursue their education to be self-independent: emotionally, socially and financially.
The project aims provide 10 Wheelchair to Poor Nepali CWD annually to enable mobility right and right of education which will make them independent in all possible dimensions, able to make their own identification. And their tool of education shall create independent disability movement in long run and pressurize the government to guarantee their basic rights and built Nepal Disabled Friendly Country.
