Donate to help us bring clean water and make a difference in the lives of the children in Kasoa and their community. What is a borehole? A borehole is a deep hole drilled in the ground that acts as a well and provides water. Why a borehole? A borehole will provide clean and accesible water to people that do not have access to a public water supply. Who needs a borehole? Over 800 children at Savior Childrens Foundation in Kasoa, Ghana, West Africa for bathing, cooking, and basic health.
There is no running water to the kitchen or bathroom areas at Savior Children's Foundation in Kasoa, Ghana. The school provides free education to children living in Kasoa, Ghana and is permanent residence to nearly 50 orphans. The school provides breakfast and lunch for the students daily so children are assured at least two meals a day.
Providing a borehole to Savior Children's Foundation will not only provide running water for the kitchen and bathing areas but it will also help to provide long term sustainability for the school by selling additional water to people in the village.
Providing long-term sustainability will enable Savior Children's Foundation to continue providing education to the children of Kasoa, Ghana.
