VTalks is the first platform for volunteers in Yemen,where they can present their experiences,and benefit from people with experience and knowledge in community work.The VTalks2017 highlights important projects undertaken by young volunteers during the last years of the war and gives them an opportunity to listen to those with experience in community work to see priorities for action in the coming period.As well as to know their role as volunteers and what they can do to achieve these priorities
Thousands of volunteers work in various civil society organizations in Yemen and their work has played a prominent role and impact during the difficult situation that Yemen has experienced in recent years.Volunteers experience different situations and face many difficulties and obstacles ,Although there are many volunteer units in their agencies, there is no one to focus their efforts in a structured and directed to the development of voluntary work in Yemen.
The conference will gather at least 550 volunteers from various initiatives / institutions / organizations as well as a number of key figures and decision makers from local and international civil society organizations and representatives of the private sector. Which will allow volunteers to share their ideas and problems , also enable them to benefit from people with experience and knowledge in community work, in addition to helping them develop their voluntary work can offer them.
VTalks will serve as an umbrella for volunteers to guide them and help them overcome the difficulties they face and develop their volunteer work. The conference will raise the awareness of the volunteers, especially the youth, about the priorities of the projects needed by Yemen in the coming period in the fields of relief, development, media and technology, through discussion sessions in which civil society experts and experts participate.
