It has been a busy year for our teams across Latin America, not just with the ever demanding and ongoing project work in the schools we work in but in order to further support our projects impressive fundraising challenges have been conquered in Guatemala, Nicaragua, Brazil, Ecuador and Peru.
Next on the schedule is the ever impressive Guatemala Volcano challenge, now in its third year which will begin on November 27th.
A hardy bunch of challengers, and of course project Director Dom Williams, are hard at work raising funds to support the project and training (!) in preparation. This year as well GVI founder and director Richard Walton will be joining the team.
The 4 Guatemalan volcanoes which constitute this challenge each present an intimidating obstacle and the participants will truly be earning every penny which is donated to this worthy cause.
To read more about how funds raised through the GVI Charitable Trust benefit our work have a look at our new annual report which has just been published.
As always many thanks to everyone who has supported our work.Attachments:
