enhancing livelihood of 150 drop- out poor girls in Khartoum state through training them in new vocational training fields such as electricity, mechanics, carpentry, cooling and refrigerator maintenance which helped them find a source of income to overcome the poverty as well as continue their education
the displaced girls at age of 18- 25 years from conflict zones who live in Khartoum state lost the opportunity to continue their education as a result of poverty and inability to pay for school tuition and some of them lost interest in education. those girls have no source of income as they lack the skills to cope with the opportunities available in the new community. Also, the girls are not aware of their rights and work laws and regulations to claim their rights
the project will breaking gender- stereotyping in the field of vocational work by training the girls in the needed skills to help them improve their livelihood and reduce poverty through provide small projects and organize girls in groups create a partnership among them and with other groups to compete in the market. Also, girls will be educated by human rights, gender, and leadership to advocate for their rights
the project helps 150 girls to rise out of poverty and allow them to find new employment opportunities which were dominated by males and the source of income will help the girls continue their education and improve the livelihood of their families as well
