Since the last report, we have been busy making preparations for the symposium. In deed we have been searching for funds and we are lucky to have had some money from Peace Corps Cameroon program. We intend to use this money to organize the first phase of this seminar. So far we are very serious holding meetings and building the manual we intend to use during the symposium. The committee charged with this is made up of BFF members, officials from the Ministry of Environment in Cameroon, a short term Volunteer from Germany and 2 Peace Corp Volunteers.
The symposium is slated for 12th and 13th August 2013 in which we intend to invite 30 community members drawn from 15 communities and 15 educational authorities drawn from the Ministries of Basic Education and Secondary Education. We have equally assigned BFF members to perform specific functions in order to ensure the success of the symposium.
