Small small, catch monkey translates to “Slowly but surely, you will succeed.” This is exactly how we view this Village Water Management Committee Symposium project. When posting this project we knew too well that we will not receive the full funding amount in the matter of three short months. Also, we realize we are incredibly occupied with our many other on-going projects (we’re currently engaged in two community water projects, supervising improvements on the local orphanage and revamping our child sponsor project). So, we were exepecting to official launch this symposium when we receive much more substantial funding and have more time to appropriately devote to it.
But! This is not to say we’re not thinking about it and/or gradually planning it. We have spoke with 4 village water management committees (WMCs) already giving them the ‘heads-up’ about this program—we estimated we can launch it a year from now.
So! That is the progress of this portion of BFF’s work. We’re continuing working on many other projects while awaiting project funding and adequately planning this one for a successful symposium.
