New Teachers Dormitory
New Teachers Dormitory

Dear Friends,

Our latest update to Van comes from Turkish Education Foundation in partnership with Turkcell. These organizations have been working relentlessly to rebuild the teacher's dormitories that were destroyed during the Van earthquake.

When the earthquake occurred, most teachers were in a meeting, leaving 90% of teachers in the village to be killed.

With the help of Turkish Philanthropy Funds, Turkcell and Turkish Education Foundation, we are putting Van back together. Attached are photos of the new Teacher's dormitories that are projected to be finished as of September 2012.

Help us continue helping!
