Despite the crushing financial crisis at APF, we remain steadfast in our mission to save lives. Every day, we fight for these animals, rescuing them from unspeakable horrors. By the end of July 2024, we have saved 350 dogs from dire conditions, offering them shelter, medical care, and the love they deserve. In the face of overwhelming odds, we also found loving homes for more than 80 dogs since the beginning of 2024.
Our long-term efforts are making a significant impact as well. Through our CNVR (Catch, Neuter, Vaccinate, Release) projects in Cairo, we’ve covered 540 dogs, with 1,200 more vaccinated. And in a victory for all animal lovers, the veterinary medicines authority has finally agreed to stop the importation of the poison that was once used to kill street dogs.
But we are operating with minimal financial support from the community, where animal welfare is not highly regarded. We are doing everything we can, but we cannot continue this work without your help. If you can support us, please don’t hesitate. Together, we can continue to help these unprivileged animals and ease their suffering.
