This is a brilliant and simple campaign designed to secure food starting in Paarl East, South Africa planting 120 Fruit & Nut Trees to benefit 40 Families and to alleviate poverty, hunger, and global Warming. It is also essential to plant trees so that the earth can recover from rainforest and environmental destruction that is still taking place on an enormous scale.
I live in a more fortunate area in Paarl East South Africa and are visited daily by woman & children who went to bed without food for the day before. People are hungry and look for food and work.
Fruit and nut trees provide healthy nutritious food to people who are struggling to put food on the table. Trees will also beautify the area where people live creating a peaceful and serine atmosphere. We will initially plant 3 fruit / Nut Trees per family in the poor neighbourhood named Chicago and each fruit tree will produce enough food per family for one month. A total of 3 fruit / nut trees equals to 3 months of food per family when the times are difficult.
By creating these urban food forests all over will bring the much needed rain to our land. The fruit and Nut trees will supply an abundance of food to the people. They will also be able to sell the fresh produce for a much needed income. The beauty that the trees create will also uplift the moods of the people and make them more healthier, happier and peaceful.
