Nearly two million immigrants and refugees have work authorization, college degrees, and in-demand skills to contribute, but they are unemployed or underemployed in the US due to systemic barriers as they seek to rebuild their careers in the, including lack professional networks, discrimination and misconceptions about their credentials and experience. This project will provide support to 1000 job seekers as they build their skills and networks, and ultimately thrive in their new home.

Upwardly Global's innovative skill-building and networking programs help newcomers and U.S. employers succeed together, transforming lives, powering the workforce, championing human potential.

Long-Term Impact

Upwardly Global builds programs and policies that create a more inclusive, welcoming nation. We shape programs and policies that advance newcomers' full integration into local communities and economies, protect and welcome people fleeing persecution, and support an immigration system that recognizes newcomers' potential and contributions.
