The season of giving is right around the corner. We have great plans for our essential communities. In 2023, we got the Ananggue plant to run completely on solar power and are in the works for the same to happen in Mambugsay, both are located on the island of Negros in the Philippines.
We distributed rice to the farmers in Mambugsay during the El Niño period last summer, the drying up of the area and water had a bad impact on their livelihood. They are now on the road to recovery and are planting again lemongrass to replace their damaged crops. We also started planting citronella for expansion into another essential oil product.
We have some planned pipeline projects for the coming months: the establishment of playgrounds for the kids in both communities, small library, internet connection, and hopefully educational assistance. But of course, this cannot be realized without our committed donors.
We hope we can again bring happiness to these farmers and their families during the special season of Christmas and hope we can realize the dreams for our communities, helping them cultivate their communities further.
