Following concern on the challenges faced by thousands of students from Iwoland in accessing educational resources for their academics and researches, Iwoland Development Coalition (IDC) in collaboration with the Charitable Youth for Nation Building Initiative (CYNBI), considered the resuscitation and upgrade of the George Iwilade Library as a step towards ameliorating that challenge.
After rounds of assessment of the facility, it was discovered that the George Iwilade Library requires books, journals and other resources that could aid students in their learning and research.
It was this understanding that guided IDC and CYNBI actions and pursuits.
As I write this, I'm pleased to inform you that we have procured various text books, novels and other highly essential books as well as journals. Also, we have been able to acquire 8 units of laptops, which our representative in London will pick up by June 14, 2019.
This library project is about the future and that explains our passionate and relentless push for its actualisation.
Our hope is that the authorities will expedite our request for access and upgrade of the library so that we can deploy the resources at our disposal for the benefit of hundreds of Iwoland students.
