Imane, Ofante and Ikem are hard to reach villages in Nigeria . Upgrading these centers will give basic services to 150,000 poor patients.
The health facilities are in hard to reach rural communities and. There are dilapidated and lack basic equipment and manpower. Power supply and drugs are not available.
This project will help in renovating the health facilities, providing basic equipment, drugs, and organize the community into community based social health insurance groups for sustainability.
There will be community ownership and support for the facilities. This will encourage more communities to organize for positive health action. There will be reduction of child and maternal morbidity and mortality.
