We are so happy to report that Aimée MURORE is now funded to move forward with her university studies to become a doctor!
Aimee audited her classes for the 2021-22 course year, and even did the required internship, but of course wasn’t able to get credit for all of her work, though her grades were in the top 85%, because she wasn’t able to pay her tuition fees. But now that SAFECO received the $1,000 grant, Aimée has been funded to retake the exams for the courses she took in the 2021-22 school year to get the credit she worked so hard to achieve.
Aimee has demonstrated not only resolute determination to obtain her university medical degree, but did so with very high marks and ranking among her peers, despite not being eligible for course credit. We are so proud of this young woman and so pleased that because of the generous support granted through GlobalGiving, we are able fund Aimée’s next year of study.
