Happy holidays! Thank you for supporting our efforts to provide a Class of One for low-income Bay Area students and contributing through the GlobalGiving platform. Your kind generosity has helped us support deserving under-resourced students by providing free, high-quality 1-1 tutoring.
We are particularly grateful that our wonderful base of supporters has not only made financial contributions to further our mission, but also stepped up to help us build our organization's capacity by spreading the word, volunteering, becoming a tutor, joining a committee, and making new connections and introductions to increase our network of allies. Accordingly, we have recently expanded our board – we have an incredible community leader in our new Board Chair, Mindy Rogers – and we have added two amazing new members to our board of directors and six dynamic new members to our advisory board.

2011-12 By The Numbers
2,060 hours of tutoring provided in the 2011-12 school year.
105 students served in the 2011-12 school year.
92 percent of students improved academic grades and test scores after a year of tutoring.
37 tutors currently on Tutorpedia’s staff.
19 volunteers actively tutoring students.
33 workshops offered in small groups using project-based learning.
35 subjects staff have experience teaching or tutoring.
8 standardized tests tutors prepare students to take.
71 applications received requesting tutoring scholarships for the 2012-13 school year.
24 students currently receiving scholarships through Tutorpedia Foundation’s Scholarship Program.
47 students unable to receive scholarships for this year due to budget restrictions.
1,000 dollars provides a year-long tutoring scholarship for one student in need.
