Trusted World needs the funding to kick off the food packing events. $5,000 will provide us with enough food to create 20,000 meals. During the kick-off event, Trusted World will invite organizations such as churches, schools, corporations, and civic groups to experience the team building event first hand. Our food packaging kick-off event will engage volunteers for the assembly-line packaging of highly nutritious dehydrated meals made up of rice, soy, vegetables, and 23 essential vitamins.
Trusted World's Food Packing Room will have one mission to feed the hungry by empowering people to serve. Our food-packing program will engage groups to work together in a meaningful way with hands-on, team-building experience. We do this by partnering with organizations who come to us and pack meals on specially design food-packing tables created by Trusted World.
We will do this by partnering with organizations such as churches, schools, corporations, and civic groups to host food packing events for a minimal fee at our location and pack meals in an assembly-line on specially design food-packing tables created by Trusted World to ensure a unifying and fun, although productive team building and fundraising event. The packaged food is distributed to trusted partners to ensure the food reaches the area of need- a local food pantry, or title one schools.
Once the project is complete, Trusted World will have full use of the 2,945 sqft space along with the three offices. The room will allow Trusted World to package dry food for local, disaster and International relief. The new Food Packing room has the potential to pack over 1,000,000 meals over the next two years.
