Happy 2014. As we start the New Year. This is going to be a exciting year for the Trey Foote Foundation. The New Year is a time where we reflect back on the prior year and look forward, with great excitment into the year to come and I hope one of your resolutions is to support non-profits like the Trey Foote Foundation.
The Trey Foote Foundation is excited for 2014. We launched our new website with a fresh look and feel and our board has approved expanding our scholarship program to begin offering a second scholarship.
As winter has past and we are well on our way into Spring we're looking forward to longer days and warmer weather. One great gift to celebrate the new year is to give a loved one who has everything is a donation on their behalf. A donation that will help a high school student go to college. We are about half way to our goal of $2500 worth of donations for the 2013/2014 scholarship program. Our foundation will begin accepting scholarship applications in March so the scholarship season is quickly approaching. All donations make a difference.
We’re excited because our scholarship winners continue to graduate from College. Sarah, who was our second recipient will graduate with a degree in biology and will go on to Medical School with the goal to become an Oncologist. Imagine that, a Doctor who may some day find a cure to cancer or cure one of your loved ones, went to school with a scholarship you helped support!
Since the Trey Foote Foundation Scholarship was established in 2007 we have given over $27,500 worth
of scholarships and 100% of your donation goes directly to scholarships program. Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Jim
