We are please to announce that Paige Smith won the 2012 Trey Foote Foundation scholarship. Page intends on attending Western Washington University where she will study Finance and Accounting.
Early in Paige's life she was diagnosed with Dyslexia, however with hard work, dedication she was able to overcome it. " I now understand, with the support of a tutor through grade school and my parents, that there is nothing wrong with having to learn differently or take my time to fully understand the materials. Dyslexia is something I will live with all my life, and though I have accepted that it makes me different, there are always obstacles to overcome. Dyslexia has also helped me to succeed in life!"
Through Paige's hard work she got exceptional grades in high school.
Without your support her scholarship would have not been possible. As we head into the 2013/2014 school year we continue to need your support so young students like Paige can fulfill their dreams of attending college.
