Parkinson Patients in Ethiopia particularly in Addis Ababa do not get timely and proper diagnosis because of the absence of trained neurologists. Therefore, this project is intended to train the available medical doctors on Parkinson disease Diagnosis.
Parkinson Patients in Ethiopia (Addis Ababa) suffer a lot because of miss-diagnosis. In the absence of trained neurologists, patients are forced to visit medical doctors who have less know-how on Parkinson's. Patients are forced to take wrong medication. As a result quality of life deteriorates. Since we cannot get neurologists in short time, we need to train medical doctors on Parkinson Diagnosis & prescribe the right medication to help patients live well.
We train medical doctors to diagnose and prescribe the right medicine for Parkinson Patients. The life of Parkinson Patients will improve due to the right medication
Quality of life will improve for Parkinson Patients, their care givers will have more time to be engaged in productive activities. A total of 300 patients will be served by this project.
