Thank you to our generous donors!
The children pictured here are just a few of the wonderful, bright children that have benefitted from your generous donations to our To the Moon After-School Arts and Education Program. When these children participate in our program after school, they receive a delicious and nutritious snack, help with their homework, and participate in fun art activities as well as educational activities. All of this is made possible by your generosity and support!
Last month, 31 enrolled students in our To the Moon-After School Program helped to raise the spirits of those affected by the disastrous hurricane in Puerto Rico. Along with donations and supplies that were collected by our staff, the children created some beautiful art to send to families in Puerto Rico. The students had so much fun creating different pictures and messages of support, and they loved being able to give back in their own unique and creative way! The included photo is one example of the creative and beautiful designs that our students made.
At To the Moon, these children are improving their achievement in school and learning valuable creative thinking skills, as well as building great friendships and supportive relationships with fellow participants and staff. Your generous donations help us to provide healthy snacks and to purchase materials for the children’s educational activities, including pencils and crayons, art supplies, toys, and more. Without you, To the Moon would not be the wonderful program that it is today!
