Our mission at Thee Bee Project, is to assist socioeconomically disadvantaged women and children living in Guinea (West Africa). We are currently sponsoring the Orphanage and Rehabilitation Center Regina Maris, and the Association of Mothers and Children with Hydrocephalus; both entities located in Guinea. Funds generated will be used to help sustain both entities economically, educationally, and medically. Each entity is home to at least 50 children, who are in dire need of a fair chance in life
Over 43% of the Guinean population finds itself below the international poverty line and women, orphans, and chronically ill children are the biggest victims of poverty. Sadly, measures to help them function in society afford medical care and secure a promising future are often lacking and inadequate when present. Our goal is to provide educational and other resources that will allow socioeconomically disadvantaged women and children to sustain themselves, and help the entities caring for them.
