The Freedom Ranch is The Key2Free's transitional living program for survivors of sexual exploitation. Our mission is to inspire, encourage and empower survivors to guide them into successful independence and freedom. Each year, over 300,000 fall victim to sex trafficking within our own borders, yet there are only 300 beds dedicated to survivors through safe house programs. Our transition program and life skills classes are necessary and important to their future recovery.
Our leadership team was formed upon the return of a mission trip to Thessaloniki, Greece, where we were educated on the fastest-growing crime in the world, human trafficking. Our eyes were opened to the overseas problem, but also to the truth that this exists in our own backyard in astounding statistics. The Key2Free was formed upon this realization. These children need us to be a hope for them, they need us to be a voice for them, and they need us to be the one to rescue them.
The Freedom Ranch is a Christian transitional living program for survivors of sexual exploitation (18 and over). Our mission is to inspire, encourage and empower survivors to guide them into successful independence and freedom. Our intent is that this would be a place of peace and restoration for residents. Our program provides the opportunity to find healing and restoration through case management, mentoring, counseling, life skills development, and job training.
This project benefits non-residential as well as residential survivors, and provides numerous opportunities for prevention and advocacy work in the community. This program allows us to work with both non-residential and residential survivors while empowering and equipping them for their life beyond The Key2Free. This program gives mentors a meeting place with their survivors in a safe, comfortable setting. Families of survivors will be able to find healing and restoration as well.
