Challenge

The project need is to strengthen women and girl capacity to influence and develop strategies to access own land especially in rural areas and to participate fully in development and also to access information concerninig HIV/AIDS and to fight stigma, discrimination among people infected with HIV/AIDS. The Beneficiaries are; the girl child, the Orphans, the widows and the street children.

Solution

Train opinion leaders on the rights of girl child and OVC. Train of Human Rights advocates for OVC and Girl Child. To start Income generating Activities for Widows and OVCs. To return OVCs back to schools To train Peer Educators and counsellors.

Long-Term Impact

This will strengthen women's capacity to access ownship of property i.e. land. It will empower the vulnerable girl child with vocational skills to enable her become economically independent.
