Dear Supporters,
Across underserved communities in Nigeria, thousands of girls face a challenge that many people never see. Every month, when menstruation begins, many girls are forced to miss school because they cannot afford sanitary pads. What should be a normal part of life becomes a barrier to education, confidence, and opportunity.
Our project aims to change this reality by training 3,500 girls to produce safe, reusable sanitary pads while providing comprehensive menstrual health education. This approach offers both an immediate solution and a long-term pathway to self-reliance.
By learning how to make reusable sanitary pads, girls gain practical skills that can reduce dependence on expensive disposable products. They also learn about menstrual hygiene management, reproductive health, self-esteem, and personal dignity.
Your support helps keep girls in school, improves menstrual health, and reduces stigma surrounding menstruation. Every donation contributes toward training materials, reusable pad kits, community workshops, and educational resources.
Together, we can ensure that no girl misses school because of her period. Please continue sharing and supporting this important initiative.
Best wishes,
Empower Future Initiative Team
