The Chelsea Hutchison Foundation had an eventful year, marked by the collective efforts of incredible volunteers, donors, sponsors, bingo players, and more. Thanks to your support and others, we successfully delivered 134 life-saving movement monitors and a few misc. grants to our community. This accomplishment underscores the power of collaboration and the positive impact that can be achieved when a community comes together with a shared commitment to making a difference.
The Chelsea Hutchison Foundation achieved a significant milestone in 2023 as well. We were able to provide grants for 12 seizure-response service dogs, making a profound impact on the lives of those in need. This accomplishment is a testament to the collective generosity and commitment of our community. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone involved for their selfless contributions, which continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by epilepsy.
Each year, CHF works to provide opporotunities for families living with the daily struggles of an epilepsy diagnosis. to attend special epilepsy related expost across the US. Last year, 17 families were grantedd all major expense paid trips to participate. We are now accepting nominations for Chelsea's Wish Trips to Purple Day for Epilepsy Awareness Around the world. This event takes place on March 23, 2024 at the Contemporary Hotel on the Disney World Property. For more information, please visit our nomination site. This trip includes 3 nights lodging and tickets into two Disney Parks. Nominations are accepted through February 1, 2024 and winners will be announced on February 2, 2024.
