Summary

Talent Developing Society is creating opportunities to Malaysian underprivileged students to be successful in their life by earning scholarship to pursue education in universities or becoming successful entrepreneurs. We are reinforcing the speaking, reading, writing, listening skills, STEM education, entrepreneurship and other talents of young people to allow them to access quality education in outstanding universities abroad.

Challenge

Opportunity are abundance in Malaysia. But, students from poor background have less chances to show their talent what more to achieve something big. Rich students, the parents will send them to tuition class or other classes to upgrade their talents but how about the poor. Only when the students feel equally able and qualified to aspire to their nation harness the full potential of all its people.

Solution

Through our survey 10 years back, less than one thousand students receive scholarship from government. Another 500 will receive scholarships from private sectors. We intent to help more students especially underprivileged, to earn scholarship by being outstanding in both academic and co- curricular. Our STEM projects aims to nurture the next generation of environmental leaders and create opportunities for young entrepreneurs.

Long-Term Impact

This is the basis of the organization vision "To make the world a brighter place" and its commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In the globalization, being outstanding and talented opens the doors to job opportunities and education at least for 100 TDS members. We will have training program and youth camp for experience sharing and mentoring to reinforce the leadership and entrepreneurship skills of 100 young people.
