1,000 homeless youth will participate in innovative programs to challenge and nurture building healthy attachment resiliency in new facility with amenities: computers, medical and dental clinics.

There are 2,000 youth who are homeless on any given night in greater Kansas City. Our current statistics show from 2000 through 2007, Synergy sheltered 1,810 homeless young people and had to turn away 1,860 due to lack of capacity In the group sheltered, 86% of the youth had a household income below the federal poverty level, and 85% were uninsured.

A safe environment that is rich with social opportunities & immediate feedback from caring staff including adolescent mental health and case managers all with expertise in trauma-informed attachment therapy and ability to motivate and support others.

Long-Term Impact

Through Synergy's leadership of the National Network for Youth, we have a significant understanding of the program services provided for homeless youth across the country and are confident of the need for therapeutic resiliency to battle homelessness
