Hello Friends,
The first half of 2016 has been a whirlwind of progress and positive change. In support of our mission to help local Ugandan nonprofit organizations provide desperately needed services we have added staff members, expanded services and provided our local partners with more support and funds than ever before.
Our Ugandan staff, Fellows and international interns have worked tirelessly to achieve our common goal of enabling and supporting community driven development. Together in partnership with over 40 local Ugandan organizations, FCDE continues to increase our positive impact in the Ugandan Districts we serve.
Most recenltly we have partnered with eight new local organizations in our Rukungiri site. Our team in Rukungiri, Uganda welcomed new partner organizations that support literacy, agribusiness, health and advocacy for people with disabilities.
Our staff continues to bring passion, personal committment and new ideas to our programs. Most recently Global Health Corps (www.ghcorps.org) placed two new Fellows with our organization. These bright, motivated health professionals bring new skills and talents to enhance our technical and direct support of our local partners.
Looking forward, there is much more to do. Donors like yourself continue to be intergral to the ongoing sucess and sustainability of our work. Thank you for your past support and I hope that you will be able to continue support of the work FCDE does in East Africa.
