FCDE's Open 2nd Site In Uganda

Hello Friends and Supporters of FCDE,

We are very happy to announce that FCDE will be opening its second Ugandan program.  FCDE will be opeing its new program in Rukungiri, Uganda. Rukungiri, located in the Southwest of Uganda, was chosen because of the strong work done by local non-governmental organizations and the overwhelming need for support due to poverty and challenging social circumstances.

Rukungiri is a beautiful, wild location that is near some of the premier game parks and geologic wonders of Africa. Even with the natural beauty and resources, this region remains emeshed in economic and social problems. FCDE's work will first focus on supporting organizations who work in health and economic development.  Over time FCDE will provide support to organizations working in youth, education, woman's empowerment and environmental issues.

Funds for opening this 2nd FCDE site were grasciously provided by the Segal Family Foundation. Their support of this 2nd FCDE location will impact more 2,000 beneficiaries within 2 years. This impact will be felt through increased incomes of farmers and greater number of rural households receiving health services among many other forms of support.

In order to continue to provide support to the vital health and economic development projects we need to receive continued support from people like yourselves. For more information on how your donations support vital services through our capacity building work, please visit our website listed below.

Regards,

Eric Younger
