Thank you for supporting "Body Surgery" and helping to change lives.
We are excited to tell that Zoir is the first life impacted by your generous support! He is a 10 year old boy from Norak (Tajikistan), who loves playing football and goes to school like any other kid, apart from being born with the abscence of fingers on one of his hands. Zoir, his mother Tozagul and three younger siblings live in poor condiitons in rural Tajikistan. Zoir dreams to become a doctor in the future and have their own house one day, where they would be living together. To help him achieve his dreams, he has to go through the multi-stage surgery to remove the space between the fingers and open his hand.
The first stage was completed last summer and the second stage was completed on the 25th of January 2018 using the funds raised through Global GIving. The gap between Zoir’s 1-2, 4-5 and 2-3 fingers is now removed, wounds are fully healed and he is now able to use his left hand. Just look how happy he looks in the photo:) The last stage of the surgery to seperate his 3-4 fingers is set for April.
Sharaf is the other boy with finger deformities due an operation soon. Thank you for being a part of "Body Surgery". With your support we look forward to changing the lives of more individuals.
