The portrait shows the image of secondary school girls whose parents cannot afford Waec Examination fees. They were not able to sit for this year Waec because their parents could not afford the examination fees.TV-TAY Wellbeing Initiative has taken a bold step to assist over 500 of them to enroll for Waec next examination from twenty various secondary schools so that their intention towards tertiary education will not be jeopardized because of their parents lack of financial assistance.
The major challenge here is that secondary school students from twenty schools in west and east were surveyed by TV-TAY Wellbeing Initiative and found out that some of these students, their parents could not afford to pay their WAEC fees.By this TV-TAY Wellbeing Initiative calls on public to donate for their next year WAEC which would be pre-registered by this year December against next year West African Examination Council exercise.
TV-TAY Wellbeing Initiative intends to solve the problem by by registering these so-called students for next WAEC examination which will commence by December this year.By so doing the students careers and interest will not be jeopardised or damped because of lack of financial assistance.
The long term impact is that the students interest will not be damped, jeopardised as well as preparing them for their career against tertiary institutions. However, it will prevent them from thinking in disarray because leaving them uncare can change their horizons towards prostitutions, street nuisance and host of other social societal evils.
