We will build the capacities of 700 poor women by implementing a training and funding support for their small businesses in order to improve their incomes and make them self-sufficient. Poor women without good economic chances in life remain destitute and prone to exploitation, misery and hunger. Rather than doing lectures during training, we will implement structured learning exercises for them to imbibe learning. Then we will provide fund support for their businesses.
Poor rural women here are severely disadvantaged and lack the opportunity to improve their social and economic condition. They are the first to go hungry and are subject to exploitation. Their lives become that of drudgery and lack of opportunities. Providing them with capital to run a business is problematic if they are not trained how to manage their business. They need to understand first the aspects of scanning for opportunities, business planning, marketing and financial control.
We wil require participants to play an active role in simulated business games and structured learning exercises during the training. There will be a minimum of lectures and maximum experiential and action learning exercises thereby transforming the training room into a microcosm of the real business world. Modular sessions will be presented highlighting the different phases of the project development cycle from opportunity scanning to business and market analysis and producing quality products.
Improvement in the social and economic situation of poor women so that they can hold their heads with dignity by fully participating in the development of their respective communities and earning self-incomes without being dependent on others.
