Title of Project: Procurement, Dispatch and Installation of Solar Panel Based Water Purification System
Kaus-e-Kazah Welfare Organization was awarded a grant by Consulate of Japan for the construction of a girls primary school in Baria Panhwar, village Mehar, District Dadu, Province of Sindh. The project began in September 2020 and had reached completion by March 2021. Project funds did not include the integration of a solar panel based water filtration system. This is important as filtered water is not available in the region. NHSD assisted in this matter, by running a GlobalGiving campaign for provision of the needful.
Network for Human and Social Development had been donated funds through the Global-Giving platform for the procurement, dispatch, and installation of a solar panel based water purification system. This will be used to provide electricity in Kaus-e-Kazah Welfare Organization Girls Primary School, Baria Panhwar, Village Mehar, District Dadu, Sindh Province, Pakistan.
The Solar Panels, Solar Panel CPU, and Water Purification System. The materials were dispatched through KKO contracted transporters. The NHSD Monitoring and Evaluation Officer accompanied the transporters, and ensured that the materials were secured.
The solar panels, solar panel CPU and water purification system were installed by the same company from whom they had been purchased. Instructions and training was then given to the KKO school staff regarding the maintenance and handling of the same.
