Children in Ukraine are being killed by war on daily basis. Fortunately, all 205 Ukrainian children they our center sheltered in Albania last year are still alive, but living in very difficult conditions and under huge stress. We plan to continue helping them even in this second year of war with Russia. Our support will go in 2 different ways: we will support 155 children by sending trucks with food, warm clothes, generators, etc. and secondly will take 50 orphans to be sheltered in Albania.
War in Ukraine is not ending, and people there are faced with a difficult winter as well. The group of 205 Ukrainian children left Albania in July 2022, and are facing lots of difficulties right now. They are asking for our help. 50 of them are now orphans (without parents) living with the fear that rockets will kill them, the same as children in Dnipro and other parts of Ukraine are being killed everyday. The rest of children live only with their mothers in miserable conditions.
This project aims to continue support 205 Ukrainian children in this emergent situation. In collaboration with Ukrainian Embassy in Tirana we plan to send trucks with humanitarian aid (food, clothes, generators, heaters, laptops to attend online schooling, etc.) for 155 children living with their mothers in Ukraine. While, we plan to bring to Albania 50 orphan children to be sheltered here until the war ends. And to support them with accommodation, food, psycho-social activities, medical, etc
This project will enable 205 Ukrainian children to cope with the difficulties of the war and winter, and to continue with their education. We intend to give them the message that they are not alone, and that their life is precious to many people. We hope to continue show them the importance of solidarization with people in need for all their life. Children are the future. We want to make sure to help the ones left without parents to find other ways to build their lives stronger and safer.
