AKWOS in partnership with Play for Hope and the National Football Federation organized a Workshop of Girls between 17 and 21 years on the role of Football to promote Leadership skills, Coaching, Refereeing and First Aid during training and Football Competitions. On the 6th April we were able to organize grassroots soccer for children from 5 to 10 years that was comprised of 200.
This was to test the participants to see if they were able to achieve the main objectives of the Workshop, whereby they were the leaders during grassroots exercises. We realized that as female grow on they have tendency of leaving the football; so it is in this regard that in any case they feel they can no longer play, they can still stay in the football World having the leading role in Soccer issues, because it was found that their more opportunities like earning their living on a professional level.
