Secondary education program plans to provide comprehensive education support to 100 marginalized girls from poorest families in ubungo district dar es salaam region Tanzania. The project will provide free enrollment and remedies studies, school fees, text books, exercise books, school uniform, school shoes, transport to and from the school, sanitary female towel and free meals the project aims at promoting better education for marginalized girl children
in Ubungo district there are a large sections of poor and deprived people including socially excluded communities whose children are struggling to go to school but they don't have support and their families are very poor to afford the cost of school fees, uniform, transport, food and other educational materials. these children could be seen engaged in one or the other child labor, unfortunately some are engaged in risk practice such as prostitution and drug abuse.
the project will address the constraints vulnerable girls are facing in enrollment, participation, retention and achievement at lower secondary school (form 1-IV) the project will provide an excellent lower secondary education and opportunities to 100 disadvantaged girls for holistic growth and development. supporting school fees, text books, exercise books, school uniform, school shoes, transport to and from the school, sanitary female towel and free meals.
it will have long impact in the development of society belong to poor communities in the district. the educative of not less than 100 children with focus on vulnerable girls will put them on the road to development not only to theirs but also of the future generation. their education as well as their development will set as example of encouragement for others to develop responsibility in the society. the girls so educated will have the potential for going in for higher education and employment
