On 17 -18 May 2007, 25 children age 13 – 17 years old have been implemented short training for computer and Information Technology in Bogor, West Java. The activity funded by local government, Education and Culture Department Office – Bogor, for giving computer training for 200 children in Bogor district.
In this workshop, YPKC (Calincing Love Rainbow Foundation) sent 25 young people, 20 boys and 5 girls, to follow the activity. They learnt about: • How computer work is • How to use Microsoft Office • How to make letter and story for wall magazine • How to make simple presentation
All participants are having new skill about how making letter, story and simple presentation. They were satisfied with their knowledge. After training season end, children giving back their skill to other friends in Cogreg village.
“Now I can making simple story and putted on our wall magazine and my friends like the story” said Anwar, one participant. Our wall magazine at front of neighbor leader house is very useful for sharing information among young people in Cogreg village.
