Do you want to support the children who are going to change the world? In this project we aim to improve the quality of education and strengthen the learning processes of children in vulnerability situation, fostering opportunities for social inclusion. The beneficiaries are 525 children from 5 to 13 years of Villa 31, Villa Bosch y Bajo Flores (Villa 1.11.14) of the City of Buenos Aires.
We need your help to strengthen children's learning in order to decrease levels of repetition, over-age, and dropping out of school. In Argentina, 1 in 3 students is behind in the year that would correspond to their age and the repetition rate exceeds 6%. Children who live in disadvantaged urban settlements are in a situation of social vulnerability and with their rights unprotected, so we consider it fundamental to develop activities complementary to those of regular education.
Through the educational workshops and the consolidation of an effective space and containment, we seek to enable equal conditions and thus contribute to the social inclusion of those who are in marginal situations. The project provides children with pedagogical support, food, games and recreational activities and a personalized follow-up of their health status, immunization schedule and related needs.
Education ensures a better future for children. The project emphasizes children's ability to overcome the obstacles that life presents to them. That is why the empowerment of children through education and involvement in activities that enhance their own resources are highly positive.
