In Liberia, except for the textbooks assigned for their courses, which, in most instances, are outdated, students have no instant access to educational content and virtually no way to consult online learning resources. The few available physical libraries are not fully equipped, & students must wait for days to get the resources they have requested. Liberia has virtually no record of quality research or knowledge production, no national library. Our project offers a free elibrary & training.

The few available physical libraries are not fully equipped, and students must wait for days to receive the resources they have requested. Liberia has virtually no record of quality research or knowledge production, no national library to collect, consolidate, and preserve.
Given the numerous barriers to access both from within and outside the country, there is a need for a single interface for searching multiple collections as this project observes and addresses. The Liberia e-Library collects, organizes, preserves, and delivers digital content in support of learning and research in Liberia as a free service.
A platform that free, user-friendly, accessible online 24/7 and open to general public in support of education and research in Liberia.
