Summary

This project will support an indigenous women in kanyakumari district of India who is widowed and struggling to find out an income daily for survival.This support will help to build her a micro project which will substantiate to feed and educate her two kids also.

Challenge

There are large number of widows and unwed mothers in the indigenous communities of the region. Although the government mechanisms are there the problems are not yet solved.Housing ,nutritional food ,health and proper livelihood becomes the mere for the target groups.

Solution

SMIDS provides nutrition,health care and micro project development and caring support to the children and mother .The painful situation will be solved through the proper interventions.

Long-Term Impact

This will support to make a long term impact in the region by showcasing the model and also help to develop more genuine beneficiaries to the target and support .The project helps to internally develop the vulnerable women and her two children and continuously monitored and evaluated for the sustainability.
