Rally Flag
Rally Flag

St. Petersburg has supported the All-Russian action "Rally in defense of animals "Sterilization - YES! Murder - NO! ". June 6-7 in St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region passed the stage of All-Russian rally in defense of animal welfare.

Relay-flag was obtained from Pskov on June 6. The transfer of the flag took place in one of the oldest shelters for homeless animals, which in this day selebrated its 14th anniversary.
On June 7 the St. Petersburg stage began: cars running through the city, then in the Luga the flag of the relay and the package with the collected signatures of the participants was transfered in Novgorod the Great. 15 cars decorated trappings run - green flags and stickers - toured the city.

Unlike other subjects of the federation and the nearest neighbor - the Leningrad region - in St. Petersburg, stray dogs are caught, vaccinated and registered, sterilized and released. Unfortunately, these measures do not apply to homeless cats. On the other hand, the city created the conditions under which developing social organizations, which offer shelters, overexposure, so that the animals do not come back out.

Thousands of people have learned about our determination and other regions to know about our experience with stray animals, new associates.

Now for the results - thanks to your help we were able to buy 450 kg. food for dogs and 54 kg. food for cats: 30 dogs and 14 cats a month will be able to receive food. This would not be possible without your support!
Over the past months 13 dogs and 4 cats found a new home and loving owners.

Thank you for the help and support of our project! Little help much better then big sympathy. We hope you will continue to support our project.

Masha and Lyalya go to orphanages, nursing homes, conduct lessons with children suffering from various diseases. And everyone around Lyalya gives part of his incredible energy and love for life. Lyalya showed us all that even with three feet is the perfect place to live, to enjoy life and to please and help others!
We are proud of Lyalya!

Christie in a family!

Hi friends!

First, we want to tell you the story of the dog Christie, who lived in the shelter all her life - 4 years, and then share the results of the work in September - November 2014.

Christie came to the shelter a little puppy. No one paid attention to her and she grew up and matured in the shelter. All this has delayed a certain mark on her character, habits - she grew very shy, was bad for contact with new people, afraid of the street. Such dog's is very difficult to find a new family.

But we believe in miracles they happen! Wonderful people paid attention to Christie and she found a family!
The new owners pay great attention to education Christie, struggling with her fears and loved her!
Photo of happy Christi best confirmation of this.
It is remarkable that there are people who are not afraid of difficulties and are willing to invest time and energy in training dogs with severe fate.

Now for the results - thanks to your help we were able to buy 42 kg. therapeutic food for dogs: 3 dogs a month will be able to receive health food. This would not be possible without your support!
Over the past 3 months 13 dogs and 7 cats found a new home and loving owners.

Hi friends!

Support abandoned animals in St.Petersburg project, which you have so generously support, glad to share the results of work in June - August 2014.

2nd of June we celebrated the 13 birthday of the shelter! Our shelter has been visited by a lot of guests - from the city administration, the Department of Veterinary and, of course, our friends, including the new owners with dogs adopted from shelter.
By tradition, the guests came with gifts - feed, canned food and drugs supplies for pets. We have prepared an entertainment program - the guests watched the show Theatre of dogs, received letters of thanks from the leaders of the shelter, and contacted with the shelter pet’s. Everyone got a boost of energy and good mood for the year ahead.

Summer - the holiday season and, as a consequence, a significant reduction in wishing to take an animal from a shelter. Despite this over the past 3 months 27 dogs and 7 cats found a new home and loving owners, including 1 dog and 1 cat with a disability.

Verniy - a dog with a disability, who has been a very difficult dog. He did not go to the contact with new people, afraid of city streets, and we were not looking to find him a new family. But a miracle happened, and our Verniy noticed the wonderful people who were able to return his faith in people. Now Verniy get rid of almost all fears, behaves well on the street and get happy new owners.

Thanks to your help we were able to purchase a 224 kg. food for dogs. Almost a month 15 dogs will be fed and happy. This would not be possible without your support!

Thank you for the help and support of our project! Little help much better then big sympathy. We hope you will continue to support our project.

Support abandoned animals in St.Petersburg project, which you have so generously support, glad to share the results of work in March - May 2014.

Over the past 3 months 26 dogs and 10 cats found a new home and loving owners. Above all, we are happy for disabled dog Stigma and cat Hans (as a result of injuries they had amputated one of the limbs), because much more difficult to find a family for animals with disabilities.

In our previous report, we told you about a new dog Euro (with traumatic amputation of fower limb) and want to continue the story . Euro underwent a medical examination, was sterilized, vaccinated, has adapted to life in a shelter. On her new photo we see an entirely different dog - a confident, cheerful. Left to do the most important step - to find for Euro a loving family.

Over the past three months has done much educational work among schoolchildren - they came to excursionin the shelter, during which conducted the "lessons of kindness". Shelter also took part in several city festivals - at the shelter’s stand citizens could obtain information about the animal, wich live in the shelter, ways to help, take part in the prize lottery and buy souvenirs with symbols of shelter (all funds raised at the festival goes to purchase animal feed). Shelter volunteers met with the governor of the city to discuss support shelters by media.

There are 59 cats in our shelter at the moment. Thanks to your help we were able to purchase a 48 kg. food for cats. Almost half a month they will be fed and happy. This would not be possible without your support!

Thank you for the help and support of our project! Little help much better then big sympathy. We hope you will continue to support our project.
