Welcome, friends!
In our next report, we want to talk about interesting projects implemented our shelter.

Firstly, it is a social race in aid of homeless dogs - about a hundred runners have joined the social action and helped raise money and goods for shelter pets. Men, women and even children ran the distance in 4 km. The winners received prizes. In the race was attended by graduates of the shelter with the owners.
It was very good and friendly event.
Secondly, our shelter is taking part in an online fair Soulful Bazaar. During the fair, anyone can buy a lovely handmade souvenirs, and all funds raised will be used to purchase equipment for the veterinary clinic at the shelter. The Soulful Bazaar allows to combine the purchase of Christmas gifts to help the orphanage.
Thirdly, we are preparing to take part in GivingTuesday. On this day, the shelter partners will carry out campaigns to collect aid for shelter pets - financial, feed, warm clothes, etc.

Now for the results - thanks to your help we were able to buy 95 kg. of therapeutic food for cats. This would not be possible without your support!
Over the past months 8 dogs and 6 cats found a new home and loving owners.

Thank you for the help and support of our project! Little help much better then big sympathy. We hope you will continue to support our project.

The best help to the animals from a shelter - this is when they have a caring ownert! But not everyone can afford to take in the family pet from a shelter.
So we began to actively develop a projet of targeted support to animals, living in a shelter.

What does it meanr?
This means that you can provide assistance to a particular (selected) animal. You can buy food, medicines (if necessary), so you can "PR" the animal on the Internet and other sources.
Before the beginning of the help you can meet with the selected animal and then periodically to meet with him or receive photos to email.

Our donors like this kind of help, because in this case it is clear who exactly gets the help and the result is visible. More than 80 pets from the shelter found their helper. Many of them have already found new families.
This project helps a shelter very much. After all, we know that an animal is provided food and medicines. This makes it possible to help more animals in need.
If the majority of the animals from the shelter will have assistants, the shelter managers can focus efforts to improve living conditions in the shelter - renovate shelter building, purchase of veterinary equipment and so on. But it is only dreams.....
Now for the results - thanks to your help we were able to buy 180 kg. of therapeutic food for cats. This would not be possible without your support!
Over the past months 9 dogs and 3 cats found a new home and loving owners.

Thank you for the help and support of our project! Little help much better then big sympathy. We hope you will continue to support our project.

Over the last 3 months we have managed to do a lot of important and useful for our brethren, the shelter did not stop working for a minute.
In this report, we want to tell you about the 2 most important events of these months.

1. Celebration of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the blockade.
Every year on January 27, we remembered the exploits of four-legged soldiers who served their country and with their lives have helped people survive and win!
People who in 1942 survived the Leningrad blockade, remember that while the city did not become cats, but the number of rats increased tenfold.Rodents are not only wiped out food supplies, but were carriers of the viruses that cause terrible epidemic diseases.
Spring of 1943, four rail cars with cats were brought to Leningrad. Cats immediately went into action, cleaning up all the cellars, attics and landfills from rats. Cats have won!Cats also warmed frozen small children, were small consolation to them in those terrible times. Therefore, many kids dedicated furry pets poems and songs.
After the lifting of the blockade in Leningrad was made another delivery cats. This time the cats rescued museums, palaces and even the Hermitage. People take care of them: fed, treated, but the most important - respected and still respected for his diligent work and assistance.
This is our history, which we must not forget .......

2. Participation in the World Spay Day
February 23 most of St. Petersburg's veterinary clinics have joined the World Spay Day - day of the castration of animals.
The action takes place in 1995, but the first time Russia has joined the annual international event only in 2015. The campaign aims to help reduce the population of stray animals in the urban environment, and establish a culture of detention and humane treatment of pets.
Total 1122 operations were carried out in the city and the region, including cats - 1012, dogs - 110. It is almost 5 times more than last year! Millions of "extra" animals, doomed to wander the streets and will not appear on the light!

Now for the results - thanks to your help we were able to buy 216 kg. of therapeutic food for cats. This would not be possible without your support!
Over the past months 14 dogs and 7 cats found a new home and loving owners.

Thank you for the help and support of our project! Little help much better then big sympathy. We hope you will continue to support our project.

He went to the shelter after the death of the owner and was very upset. Thanks very much to people who were not afraid to take adult dog from the shelter (Peach is now 10 years old).

Thank you for the help and support of our project! Little help much better then big sympathy. We hope you will continue to support our project.

More than 50 dogs living in a two-rooms flat
More than 50 dogs living in a two-rooms flat

In St. Petersburg, as well as in other cities, there are quite a lot of "collectors" - people showing abnormal love for dogs and cats. They bring to his apartment animals, without considering the consequences - what will feed them, how to care. Usually these people are totally against sterilization, leading to uncontrolled reproduction of animals in the apartment. Under these conditions, the animals run wild - they do not walk, eat regularly, have to fight for a meager livelihood, constantly reproduce. From finding so many animals in a confined space is developed terrible unsanitary conditions. Suffer not only animals living in this apartment, and neighbors.
Our organization and concerned citizens trying to deal with these "collectors" and save these poor prisoners.

Concerned citizens have turned to us for help 35 cats ejected host to the attic of the house. Animals living in such conditions typically have a whole bunch of diseases, including those harmful to other animals. Therefore, before you put them in a shelter, we conducted a survey, treatment and quarantine. The animals were sterilized and vaccinated.
Some of them have found new owners.

Now for the results - thanks to your help we were able to buy 448 kg. daily food and 112 kg of therapeutic food for dogs: 51 dogs a month will be able to receive food. It was also purchased a bit of medicines. This would not be possible without your support!
