Many girls in pastoral rural Kenya end up in early marriages because of lack of education. This is because the pastoral communities here in Kenya do not view education and women as important thing. hence many women end up dropping out of school or not attending at all because of ignorance of society towards them. pastoralist education aid is enrolling girls to school and with your kind support is increasing the number to 500 with the belief that educated women make prosperous society.
Girls in rural pastoral communities drop out of schools in early tender age due to lack of school fees or forced marriages. This is because pastoral communities do not value role of women in the society and are only regarded for sex and child birth. this makes them very vulnerable in the society.
we pastoralist education aid believe that educated women make a prosperous society which will end the perennial poverty which the community suffers all year around, and give women more chance to take important leadership roles in the society.
The project will educate 10,000 women in the pastoral society thus allowing them to rise out of poverty which will provide for their families health and well being. women will be more involved in leadership roles in their communities thus taking up important roles that will shape their community as well as their country.
