Our goal is to immediately empower 75+ Women in Nigeria after supporting 25 Women last year. ICARE provides women with the opportunity to learn critical skills and have access to new resources. We make sure they learn a business and vocational skills with earning power that they can use in their local markets. We give them a startup capital and enroll them in cooperatives so that they can begin to save and receive the supports they need.
A vast majority of Nigerians live in poverty and live on an average of $22 a month. Women are the foundation of all family, and there is a need to empower them for their communities to experience economic development. This project will empower 75+ Women by helping them learn a vocational skill, start a business or grow an existing business.
