The Masar has been put on the right track, with the new developments, and will be moving full speed forward to be fully independent and fully funded by its own fundraising network. We are currently working to finalize the Guide Training Proposal in cooperation with Bethlehem University, The Palestinian Center for Rapprochement between people (as a fiscal agent) and French partners from Gronoble.
The guide training for the local Masar in cooperation with Bethlehem University is expected to start by the end of the year and this should cover all Masar Ibrahim throughout the West Bank, the last segment in the North of the West Bank is not ready yet, so there is a need to develop it to start the guide training.
The Guide Training project is one of the most important projects in the history of the Masar. It has helped take the Masar to more local tour operators in order to market it and start bringing more tourists to walk the Masar, in addition to bringing more income to the local villages and empowering local youth. Morover, the Guiding Training project has enriched the Masar experience for many tourists, making it a unique cultural journey. The guide training will start by the end of the year 2011.
Thank you for your unwavering support and continuous donations. We will keep you updated as our projects progresses.
