Dear donors,

Let us avail this opportunity to thank you for choosing our cause among many interesting causes. Your support and trust encourages us to do more for the communities we serve to improve their living standards.

We understand that the results are crucial to prove the effective and targeted use of any cent generously provided by donors. However, given the fact that our projects are mainly related to infrastructure and it is recommended to implement construction activities in warm season to give the construction to get dried well, we were waiting best times for the start of construction activities. Thus, we will start the use of so far collected donations soon to improve the local hospitals in rural areas of Tajikistan.

Thank you for your continued support and generosity, and thank you for patience with the results. We look forward to starting the construction/renovation activities soon and provide more detailed reports on the use of your donations trusted to us.

Happy Spring Season.

Sincerely,

NGO Sadoqat Team

Dear Donors,

We would like to take this opportunity to once again express our gratitude to each and everyone of you for your continued support to the NGO Sadoqat and thereby to the people of Tajikistan.

Our negotiations with the local authorities in the project site (Panjakent District of Tajikistan) and other potential donors led to some new developments. The Panjakent District Excutive Authorities decided to construct a new facility with maternal delivery rooms to make sure the women in the vicinity have access to hospital delivery in case of need without traveling to the district centre, which is 75km far from their villages.

Now we are waiting for the Executive Authorities to get the design of the new facility approved by the Architecture and Construction Committee and the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Tajikistan. After approval of the design the Executive Authorities will construct the new facility and we will support them with refurbishment.

We will defintely keep you updated on any developments we may have.

Thank you very much indeed for your patience and continued support once again.

Sincerely,

NGO Sadoqat

Dear Donors,

Thank you very much indeed for your continuous support and donations to our organization.

We would like to update you on the recent developments with this project.

After we obtained the necessary approval of EURO 10,000 grant from the German Embassy in Dushanbe, we informed the Executive Authorities of Panjakent District (in our target health centre location), and they proposed to consider the possibility of construction of a new health centre including two non-emergency maternity rooms. Based on this discussion, with a perspective on mobilizing more donations, we approached other donors, including German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) Tajikistan. The GIZ Country Director for Tajikistan introduced to us the Project on Improved Maternal, Infant and Child Nutrition in Rural Tajikistan implemented by The German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and financed by the EU. As a result of our discussions, the Project Director expressed her readiness to consider the possibility of constructing a new health centre depending on the outcomes of the initial assessment aiming to identify the need for construction of a new health centre.

Therefore, we have been in trilateral negotiations between the NGO Sadoqat, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the above-mentioned GIZ Project. According to our last agreement, the GIZ Project's Construction Specialist is expected to visit the target health centre in the nearest future and conduct his assessment.

In case GIZ agrees to construct a new health centre (which we expect it'll be as of today's situation), Sadoqat will support the refurbishment part. Otherwise, Sadoqat will jointly with the Project renovate the existing building.

We are keen to report in a timely manner on the use of your precious donations, however, the need assessment and the negotiation with GIZ will take some time that we consider beneficial to our project. Since we are working towards the assurance that the community will obtain the maximum benefits of this project, we believe it does deserve our patience.

Sadoqat welcomes any suggestions and/or recommendations from your side in relation to this progress. In the meantime, we sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding and be assured that we will timely update you on the progress of this negotiation.

Dear Donors,

At the outset, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generosity and for choosing our project among so many incredible initiatives.

We would like to let you know that until now we were busy with renovation of four wards within another project of us financed by the Terre des hommes Germany. We are in the process of fundraising for this project at the moment. As you may see from our dashboard, we raised USD 1900 to present and we expect a part of this amount will be doubled soon as some donations started in December 13-17, 2021 with the previous campaign run  by the GlobalGiving. We have also applied for a grant to some donor organizations and will hopefully commence the physical renovation activities in June after we hear from other donors.

Meanwhile, we would highly appreciate it if you could spread the word about this project among your friends and family members to help us raise the amount that is required to improve the Neknot Health Centre.

We will hopefully update you about the activities we have implemented with your funding in our next report.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support once again.
