Under the leadership of the Shisong Water association the local community has used the global giving funds and volunteered their labor to build eight temporary stand pipes. These stand pipes will give over Three thousand people year round running water. Usually in the dry season the local water sources run dry and families have to trek miles to find fresh water. The temporary stand pipes will remain until the storage tank has been completed and then permanent stand pipes can be placed. The community has finished the generous funds that we eceived from global giving and needs more to proceed.
