After a long recess of six months the inhabitants of Shisong turn out in great numbers to continue work on their water project. This happen after an executive meeting . Almost every male in the neighborhood turn out for the work with their Pig axes , spades and Machetes. These tools made it possible for work to advanced faster. The lead volunteers were clearing the grass while others were digging trenches
Some of the community dwellers who were not able to part of the work supplied foodstuff and palmwine. Unlike in other places where workers have coffee break we had palm wine break . Palm wine is a natural drink that gives lots of energy. So it was common place to see workers serious at one end and others with cups at the other end.
A distance of two kilometers was covered in two days. ‘Mr Vitalis Ban was so happy and upon addressing the crowd reiterated that they shall stop at nothing until they distributed to the various quarters.’
