For some while now the Shisong Water Management committee have been working very hard, with instructions from the Water Technician to raise funds to buy material for the project. Recently we received funds to acquire Sand to add to Gravel and Stones. With these materials now available construction of the tank is soon to begin. Thanks to Globalgiving funds. ‘We remain very happy for this gesture’ says Mr Ernest Suika, one of the leading labourers of the project. We are soon to organize the carrying of the sand to the site proper, within the next weeks.Mr Lukong Emmanuel was nearby to confirm his readiness too.
